rescues

While I grew up taming feral kittens from our farm colony, my chances to be around large groups of wild cats changed drastically once I left. I found local organizations to partner with, and over the years have fostered dozens of kittens, adopted quite a few myself, adopted out many more, been to the ER from feral cat bites, and will always support local adoptions.

litten

Litten is a five-year old rescue, adopted from a litter that I fostered from the local Animal Control. She loves minding her own business, pushing kittens away from her, eating the most expensive food, and looking angry.

buckbeak

Aka Big Booty. Aka Big Boy. Aka Big Booty Judie. Buckbeak is a five-year old rescue and was bottle-fed way past weaning time because he couldn’t take no for an answer. I met him screaming and clawing his way up a tiny cage while I was looking into new facilities to foster with. He loves headbutting, responds only to two-syllable B names, and is terrified of small kittens.

pallet

Pallet was found off a freight truck at 4 AM in the morning, cowering underneath a pallet. The only one out of their two other siblings that made it, Pallet now loves riding on short peoples’ shoulders, crying during the humans’ showers, stealing ramen, and generally being a nuisance.
